Kanye West was hospitalized after canceling the remainder of his recent show in Los Angeles and the rest of the 21 shows in his current tour. At press time, West is at the Ronald Reagan  hospital placed on psychiatric hold for his own safety. After only four songs West went on a rant bashing Hillary and praising president-elect Donald Trump. He informed the crowd that if he had voted then he would have voted for Trump.

According to the Los Angeles Times it took two hours to convince him to go to the hospital. Since he has been omitted he has dealt with depression and paranoia. Kanye’s paranoia is so bad he will only talk to his wife, Kim Kardashian, and will not let the doctors touch him.  A close source told People Magazine that the only person Kanye trusts is Kim and he thinks everyone is out to get him.

Sources are also saying that the robbery “did a number on him as much as Kim. The mere thoughts that anything could happen to her sent him in a tailspin. He wasn’t sleeping and was having nightmares about it.” This could have a very big contribution to his paranoia and exhaustion he is facing.

Kardashian has been by the rappers side nonstop since skipping her first public appearance since the robbery in New York City a week ago.  She even reportedly spent most of thanksgiving at the hospital with West before attending thanksgiving dinner at her sister Kylie Jenner’s place, where the rest of the family was for the holiday. She has not left his side prior to that except to see there kids, North and Saint West.

Many artists, such as rapper Q-Tip are angry with Kanye regarding the rant he went on at a show before being hospitalized. Q-Tip said in an interview with Billboard magazine, “I reached out to him, and I’m hoping we just get to talk. And I’ll probably just leave it there. I really care about that dude but his remarks are something that require he and I having a real serious discussion.”

IRHS Junior Tyler Peterson said “It is very surprising to see Kanye West in the hospital for something like mental health issues.”

IRHS teacher [and Warrior Ink Grand Poobah] Mr. Anderson disagreed, saying, “because of his extremely oversized ego, we have had a long-standing rule that we would not publish Kanye West stories unless he was in rehab, dead, or had killed someone else. ‘Hospitalized for exhaustion’ is close enough to ‘rehab’ as it is usually code in the entertainment biz for a substance abuse problem.”  He added, “Though it would not exactly surprise me if it were a genuine mental health problem.  Best wishes to Q-Tip on having a rational discussion with Kanye.”

There is no set release date for the rapper; as of press time, he is still not stable enough to leave the hospital. Most evidence shows that West will not be headed home anytime soon, although a transfer to a private facility seems likely.
