Jadeveon Clowney from South Carolina.

In honor of the NFL draft tonight,  I have put together a little mock draft of who I think should be the top five picks.

1. Jadeveon Clowney, defensive end, South Carolina:

I don’t believe clowney is the best player in the draft but i believe he is going to go number one overall. I think he is going to go number one overall because his is a good size for a defensive end, he is very strong, and very quick. He also has potential to have a good career.

2. Blake Bortles, quarterback, University of Central Florida:

Bortles stat line is good but not the best but the stats aren’t what i look at. He has a strong armm can throw the deep ball and has amazing accuracy. I think Bortles is the best quarterback in the draft and possibly the best player.

3. Sammy Watkins, wide receiver, Clemson University:

Sammy Watkins has and amazing junior year from a statistical standpoint. The thing that gets me the most his his ability to catch the ball, he has very soft hands. Granted he isn’t the fastest receiver but he can get the job done.

4. Khalil Mack, outside linebacker/ defensive end, University at Buffalo

Mack has quite a bit of attention which is surprising coming from UB in the MAC conference. He is is a little undersized for both spots but has good  defensive instincts to be able to play  both spots. He is very athletic which is good for a linebacker and he is quick of the edge which is good.

5. Jake Matthews, offensive tackle, Texas A&M

Matthews as an offensive tackle doesn’t get as much recognition. But he is a terrific size for a tackle and has tremendous strength.

These do not tell the whole story I think Jimmy Garoppolo and Derek Carr should be first rounders but most likely they won’t be; even though they went to D1 schools, they aren’t high profile.
