Peyton Manning Breaks Touchdown Record

On October 19, 2014, Peyton Manning broke another NFL football record during his game against the 49’ers on a Sunday Night football game while millions of fans were watching. Peyton Manning threw for his 309th career touchdown pass, passing Brett Favre. Demaryius Thomas was on the receiving end of this record setting touchdown pass.

Peyton set the single season record for touchdown passes with 55 touchdowns in the 2013 season. He is not slowing down this season already throwing for 19 touchdowns, this record just might be out of reach for up and coming quarterbacks in the NFL. The record setting football was signed by Peyton and is now sitting in the Hall of Fame for the public to see.

In his 16th season of playing in the NFL it’s not apparent that he’s going to be retiring after this season or the next. Having more of an opportunity to break and set new records. Any football fan or just anyone that has got to watch Peyton Manning play has witnessed one of the greatest football players in the history of the NFL.
