Former Ravens Cheerleader Charged with Raping Student

A former Baltimore Ravens cheerleader has been arrested for having sex with a 15-year-old boy. Molly Shattuck, who is 47, was indicted on Monday on two counts of 3rd degree rape and four counts of unlawful sexual contact. She was also charged with another three counts of giving alcohol to a minor.

On September 26th, the 15-year-old boy told police officers that Molly began an inappropriate relationship with him and that it also involved sexual activity. He reported these accusations to the police.

In a letter sent to the parents on Wednesday, the headmaster of the school he attends wrote that he was made aware of the out-of-bounds behavior between the student and the cheerleader parent.  To ensure the safety of his students, the headmaster reports that the 47-year-old former cheerleader is no longer permitted on the high school campus.

As for Shattuck herself, she said in a statement that she is distraught and upset about the incident.
