Jabari Parker Tears ACL

25 games into his rookie campaign Buck’s forward and star rookie Jabari Parker tore his ACL last night against the Phoenix Suns and is out for the rest of the season. Parker  was coming down court when his got tangled up with PJ Tucker and fell to the ground.

This is a huge lost to the Bucks, as they were looking to build their team and franchise around Parker. As the #2 pick in the draft he had high expectations for this year but due to this injury can only hope to be back by next year. Luckily it wasn’t likely the Bucks were going to make the playoffs anyways, but with how bad the Eastern Conference is it’s anybody’s guess.

Parker averaged 12.3 ppg, 5.5 rpg, 1.2 spg this season and was a candidate for the Rookie Of The Year award.  There goes my pick for ROY. Now I owe my father $5.

Now you can see the faces of Milwaukee fans cringe at the idea of Parker turning into the next Derrick Rose. Hopefully this wont be the case and he can make a fast and healthy recovery.
At Least he wasn’t like fellow rookie and #6 pick Julius Randle who broke his leg and was out for the season in his first game of the season.
